The Claxson Group is a set of businesses and investments, owned by Nick Claxson, run through a Senior and experienced management team.  From the consistent Deloitte & Touche ‘Fast 50’ & ‘Fast 500′ listed technology company Comtec Enterprises Ltd to one of the largest direct mail houses in the south of England DP Direct, the group encompasses Nick’s desire to develop and expand.

The group also reflects Nick’s technology background.  Starting in the early nineties, Comtec Enterprises was shortly followed by Sargasso Networks in the United States then more recently the group acquired DP (Direct Mail) Ltd, along with a number of smaller company acquisitions and investments.  The business units and investments complement one another and intelligent marketing encourages growth throughout the portfolio.

All the businesses within the group benefit from Nick along with his Senior Management Team experienced stewardship and guidance, especially in adapting to change and maximizing opportunities.   Most recently this has been highlighted by Nick’s adoption of environmental standards and energy efficient business solutions within the datacentre market. The group companies also carry the accreditation mark of ISO 9001.

Nick Claxson himself at 34 years old has been the entrepreneur behind the founding of the Group and its ICT company, Comtec Enterprises Ltd. Nick’s ability to foresee the market and make strategic moves has led him to be nominated by Growing Business magazine as ‘Young Gun’ 2007 which is recognition for being one of the top 30 Entrepreneurs in the UK 2007 under the age of 35. Nick was also a Entrepreneur of the year 2008 finalist on the innovation and growth forum which makes him ranked top five in the country. Recently Nick has been seen as a ‘Young Gun’ Alumni.
